Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. What the service includes
InstantEdge provides professional web design, local listing management (Google, Apple, Bing), and monthly content updates. The scope of your website build and monthly updates is determined by your chosen plan.
2. Commitment & Cycles
All plans require a 3-month minimum commitment to account for the initial setup and build time. After the initial 3 months, service continues on a month-to-month basis.
3. Payment Terms
Service is billed at the start of each monthly period. Payments are processed securely via credit or debit card. Failure to pay within 7 days of the due date may result in a temporary pause of service.
4. Content Update Limits
Monthly content updates are capped according to your plan (Standard: 4/month, Premium: 8/month). One email counts as one update, up to 5 small changes per request. Content updates cover text, photos, hours, prices, and services — not new pages, redesigns, or new functionality.
5. Client Ownership
The client owns their domain name, brand assets, and all content provided — from the moment the first payment is received. On cancellation, InstantEdge delivers a deployable static HTML export of the site within 14 days at no charge. The underlying template source code and build toolchain remain InstantEdge property.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requires 30 days written notice. Upon cancellation, all service updates will cease. If requested, InstantEdge will deliver all final website files within 14 days and transfer domain controls to the client within 5 business days of the final service date.
7. Limitation of Liability
InstantEdge is not responsible for business losses or damages resulting from website downtime, ranking fluctuations, or technical changes made by third-party platforms like Google or Yelp.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA.
